Stayed for 2 nights during our Miami trip. Booked through Expedia with Miami Vacation Rentals. Room was very spacious and in good condition. Well equipped with Kitchen area and washing machine. Complimentary bottle of wine. Very clean throughout. Outdoor pool area was very nice with good views. No restaurant or bar in the hotel which was disappointing but I get the impression that a lot of units are rented out through different companies. We really enjoyed our stay. Great location to explore in Coconut Grove with plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

The front entrance was absolutely horrid. There was dog feved everywhere and it went all in my shoes. Soooo disappointed considering all the hype about this area and neighborhood... I expected much more considering the area I'm on and there's NO BEACH anywhere to be found.

Poor Hotel.

The odor in our floor corridor was awful. the lights in the rooms (we had a suite) were low (the bathroom had enough light. The water flow in the bath tab was bad. Though we were booked for a week, we decided to leave and find another hotel in the area. We asked the receptionist whether canceling is possible on the second day with no penalty. her answer was positive provided we notify by 9:00 AM the next day. that's what we did. we had 6 suitcases and a car service came to pick us up. We told the receptionist we check out (and it was obvious due to our luggage) and requested our bill. she issued our bills (for our 2 suites) and even sent us a copy of the bill by e-mail. That afternoon I found out that I forgot a medicine in the room refrigerator. The front desk lady told me that she will check with house keeping and call me back, which she never did, next day I called the hotel again and received the same answer. I decided to go there as I needed the medicine. The receptionist said that housekeeping didn't find my medicine and in any event if something is left in the refrigerator they don't keep it. I asked to go and check myself, but was told that the room is occupied. I requested they check with the guest. They called him but there was no answer. Then I asked that a staff member will go and check and indeed he found the medicine. At this stage they found out that they did not check us out the day before and did not cancel our week booking. We tried to argue that this was their problem but the receptionists did not agree. we asked to talk to the responsible person (manager/supervisor whatever) but they claimed that she's on her day off and they will talk to her and she'll take a decision. It took her a very short time, without even talking to us , to decide to charge us for 2 nights (while we agreed that we should pay for the one night we stayed in the hotel). From this story you can learn that from the beginning (my first call on the day we left) they did not really check the room and see whether they can find the medicine. They did not tell me the truth regarding someone else occupying the room and the supervisor did not check with us what is our story and position before she took the decision to charge us. By having our credit card details, the hotel can do with our money what they wish. After the staff member found my medicine (and knowing that the room was unoccupied ) I asked to go and see it myself. The receptionist agreed and I saw that the room was not cleaned since we left it. I asked them about it and they told me that the room is cleaned only every other day. Please notice this - from a hotel that charges me almost $500 per day and advertises that is one of the best hotels in the area (!) I expect much more.

TOILET lever broken. no one answers at front desk to help us, alarm clock went off 3 times during the night, no bottled water for drinking. no valet when we arrived after an evening out. Staff was not helpful. Stayed at hotels not considered Premier and they had maintenance available, drinking water. This hotel is not premier.

My room was with city view . My bedroom had one bathroom and TV ( the technicians’ work , not ours ) , one big Queen bed , and I shared it with my mother . There was a canvas picture of a beautiful interesting girl in her 20s on the right side along withe armchair . Shampoo I bought my own at CVS , when you walk straight to the left way from the hotel ( 7 minutes ) . My bedroom had one TV closet to store your clothing , two nightstands , and a telephone , that I used for calling the front desk to ask , if my order from KFC was delivered ( and I went downstairs to them to pick it up ) . The living room had TV , but I don’t like such the shows , cartoons neither , YouTube doesn’t work that simple . The living room had a black sofa - bed , bathroom , and another telephone not working at all , unfortunately … My room had a balcony , I remember : I had my dinner with KFC , tea , soda drink , enjoying the fresh air and the view of Coral Gables . On the first day in Miami , we went to the restaurant , which was 3 minutes away , and it was Italian place “ Like Mike “ , we ordered spaghetti , chips , and Like Mike salad . Exiting the hotel , you must turn right , and then cross the street , we were walking . I also ordered myself from 7/11 store some refreshments , two bottles of water , and the courier brought my stuff to my room at night . South Beach is located 25-30 minutes away of the hotel by “ Uber “ , we took a ride just once . Nordström Rack is located 15 minutes away of Arya by taxi , on Coral Way Street , I took a ride , and bought a Steve Madden wallet and a fashion jewelry bracelet on February 13th , ‘24 . I did not swim in pool , however ! But , I was taking pictures of the place , and sunbathing since 8 am for couple of days . The pool is open until the dusk , and the time can be different every day , the view of the harbor was seen from the area . There was a ballroom in the hotel and restaurant . My room had a kitchenette . The cleaning lady was hard - working , and made my number look alright . The room was quite dark , even with the light turned on . Near the hotel is located the mini - library , I was reading some books .
